A teenage girl named Noelle has a mother who can hardly be called that. She is bullied at school every day, lives off of food stamps and the one the thing that keeps her sane in desperate times is her only friend Sherae. As you move through this fast paced story, you will certainly find yourself emotionally involved as you get a deep understanding on Noelle's life with her mother, her poor state, and bullying because of it. Although it sounds depressing, times change for her in the end as she finds Julian.
