The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
reviewed by Valerie
Lately, many people have been talking about Rick Riordan's latest book, House of Hades. But I want to give you my thoughts on one of his older books, The Red Pyramid. Set in Ancient Egypt, two children named Carter and Sadie battle and meet the many gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt. In every chapter, the perspective is changed, allowing you to dig deep into the minds of the characters and view the same event from a different point of view. Humor, combined with suspense and action come together to form a phenomenal and compelling book. Just remember that you can follow the trend like everyone else, or you read this book and still be wrapped up within the first chapter.
