On Thursday afternoon, April 12, we particpated in the national "Drop Everything And Read" (D.E.A.R.) celebration, held each year on the birthday of "Ramona" creator Beverly Cleary.
For our celebration, we listened to an audio book version of "Beezus and Ramona," the hilarious first book in the "Ramona" series. As we listened to actress Stockard Channing read the story -- giving a different voice to each character -- we also did some spring crafts.
Here's a look at what we did.
