Arrests:
On April 30 at 9:10 am in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested on an open warrant issued through Takoma Park Police for 2nd Degree Assault. 04-9310
On April 30 at 9:40 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, an open warrant filed by Takoma Park Police was served on an adult male charging him with Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Theft under $500. 05-5772
On May 2 at 12:49 am at the intersection of Ethan Allen Avenue and Jackson Avenue, an adult female was arrested on an open Montgomery County warrant for Failure to Appear in court on a charge of Driving without Insurance. 05-5830

On May 2 at 1:25 am at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Erskine Street, an adult male was arrested and charged with Theft Over $500, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Fleeing and Eluding. 05-5832
On May 3 at 2:20 am in the 7700 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with Trespassing. 05-5886
On May 3 at 7:10 pm in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue, a juvenile male was charged with Theft Under $500. 05-5916
On May 4 at 3:20 am in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, a juvenile male was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. 05-5934
On May 4 at 6:50 pm in the 7100 block of Maple Avenue, an adult male was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia and Destruction of Property after a routine traffic stop. The subject was also served with an outstanding Montgomery County warrant for Possession of CDS. 05-5965
Crime Reports
Between April 20 at 9:30 pm and April 30 at 8:15 am in the 900 block of East West Highway, a commercial burglary occurred. A window of a door was broken in order to gain entry. Property was taken. 05-5736
On April 30 at 10:45 pm at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Dogwood Avenue, an armed robbery occurred. The victim, a juvenile male was walking alone when he was approached by a subject who displayed a handgun and demanded money. After the victim gave the subject his money, the subject fled in a silver car. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as a black male, 5'10", wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, dark pants and a dark scarf. 05-5809
On May 2 at 1:00 am in the 1000 block of Anne Street a strong arm robbery occurred. The victim, an adult male was walking alone when he was grabbed from behind, pushed to the ground and assaulted by four subjects. The subjects took property from the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim was not injured. The subjects were described as black males. 05-5833
On May 4 at 11:05 am in the 500 block of Albany Avenue, a residential burglary occurred. Entry to the home was made through the unlocked front door. Property was taken. 05-5946
Between April 29, time unknown and May 3 at 10:40 am in the 1300 block of University Blvd., a commercial burglary was attempted. Vent hoods on the roof of the building were damaged in the attempt. 05-5890
